Program Outline
Greetings in Jesus’ name!
We are so blessed that you are interested in taking the message of Jesus’ love to “the uttermost parts of the earth!” (Acts 1:8) The GO! Ministries’ Mission Training School is an intensive short-term program designed to help prepare you to fulfill the Great Commission anywhere in the world.
Our vision is to provide preparation and education for prospective missionaries on two levels: spiritual and practical. The first place is given to spiritual preparation. Jesus said to seek first the kingdom of God, and that other daily necessities would then be added to us. (Matthew 6:33) With that in mind, our primary focus is given to the study of the Word of God. Every morning will begin with teaching in the book of Acts as we consider personal application and specific insights for missions. We will also cover many practical aspects of full-time missions work including training on financial management, newsletter writing/creation, and more.
During your course of study at MTS, there will be several opportunities for practical application and outreach. You will plan and participate in local outreaches, and in ministry within the Body at Calvary Chapel Norco. Toward the end of MTS, students will conduct a weeklong foreign mission outreach.
Classes are taught by Calvary Chapel pastors, missionaries, and others with extensive experience in working with various aspects of missions. You will also meet people like yourself who have a passion for the Lord and the desire to be fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). If you are considering full time mission work or just want to be better equipped to serve in your home church, we invite you to pray and consider GO! Ministries’ Mission Training School!
